Hi everybody. I'm a fairly long time Mepis user, but I'm trying out Antix. This computer starting to feel dated and I thought I'd see how snappy Antix runs on it.

Welcome to antiX! Hope you enjoy it, and that you also enjoy the community here!
You found a snappy one, all right! antiX is both responsive and flexible. Out of all of the fast, snappy distributions out there, antiX is arguably the most current and most flexible, though not the smallest. But I think it makes the best overall compromises. It is small enough to run Live, if you prefer going that route, but it most certainly can be installed onto a disk or a USB device very easily. It supports a lot of wireless devices, too, so it is handy to carry around on a laptop, and it boots quickly.flammen wrote:Hi everybody. I'm a fairly long time Mepis user, but I'm trying out Antix.
