Hi!
Sunday I installed antiX on my Acer Aspire One, because I've read a lot of good things about it.
And what should I say?
Wow!
It's running fast and it looks great! __{{emoticon}}__
I come from sidux and so I'm happy to use smxi with antiX. __{{emoticon}}__
So I want to say Thank you for this great Distro!

I ran a Live USB stick on my wifes Acer aspire one and it ran great. I wish she would let me install it.

Hello glako:
I installed antix on one of my daughters' Acer aspire one and she's very happy with it. It runs very well and she loves ice-wm
Welcome to Antix. Enjoy!

and a welcome to antiX from me, glako.
There are a few sidux users here, myself included.
Enjoy antiX!

Yes, I am another one of them. I use SimplyMEPIS for a Debian Stable desktop system, antiX for a lean, fast, Debian testing system (I have both Testing and Sid variations of AntiX), and I enjoy and use sidux as well for a cutting edge system. I have all three of these systems on multiple computers.anticapitalista wrote:and a welcome to antiX from me, glako.

Hello and love greetings from Germany.
Before I have used Debian and sidux, but Antix-8 with icewm is totally lovely.
Beautiful and fast. I used (also Windows XPP) Ubuntu (Crunchbang lite), PCLinuxOS (Tinyme, FluxFlux) and Debian, but I still a Linux newbie.
I look in the forum and ask you much things __{{emoticon}}__
