Greetings to all forum members!

I've been visiting this forum for a while now, and it was prime time to register __{{emoticon}}__

I'm using Debian 7 Wheezy right now on my old lenovo Intel Celeron desktop PC, but I have tried Antix 13.2 a while back, and liked it very much. I really liked Fluxbox minimalistic WM. Honestly, I think about switching back from pure Debian to antix 13.2 when and if my current distro betrays me. IMHO, MX-14 is a bit too much to swallow for my PC to shine. So my question for you is: Will antiX 13.2 be supported or is MX-14 your prime goal right now?
First Linux distro that I have installed was Xubuntu, then Lubuntu, antix 13.2 and now Debian 7.

I hope you guys will stay here and antix will be with us for some time. Sadly, CrunchBang (which I haven't tried), has reached EoL.

antiX 13.2 is based on Wheezy, so you should be comfortable with it. In synaptic you will have access to install any of the programs from debian wheezy if there is something you need that isn't included in antiX 13.2.

As far as I know, antix will be antix, and mx will be a side project.

Welcome aboard.
AntiX is the primary O/S - MX was a colaboration with the Mepis guys, (as they had a slight problem getting out a new release, I believe).

My primary right now is AntiX 14 testing.

From RV3 to RV5. My AntiX 11 install is still supported. It all depends on how you have your repos setup.

You will notice in my inxi readout that, that is AntiX 11 testing also. Not a final release.
So I would not sweat the small stuff.

Welcome & Howdy! AntiX has been giving older computers a lift and renewal of life. AND AntiX is already setup with many of the programs you need, compared to some distros and Debian Wheezy raw. Lots of people prefer to have a distro that lets them accomplish aomething over a distro that forces them to set it up the way they want it.

@DeicideUrF8: Welcome to the distro and the forums. Yes, it is very sad what has happened to CrunchBang Linux. I have been a full time user of the distro since March 2012 and used it briefly on an ASUS eeePC back in 2010. I have learned an awful lot using it and via the forums.
