I have downloaded the Antix ISO and have it on CDROM. I had been using mepis 7 and 8 and have decided my old laptop would probably do best with Antix. It's an old Compaq Evo N400C 800 mhz cpu, 384 meg ram, and 20 gig hard drive. I am looking forward to interacting (means asking questions) with you in the near future.

I think you will like Antix very much.

Welcome to Antix. Post away questions and comments. Antix should run fine in your laptop. I had a similar laptop (Dell 7500) where I first tried Antix and it ran great. So much so that I have Antix running now on all my computers.
