to my grandkid and just see for dead man grins. Maybe by then it will be worth something. Other than a glorified door stop. It still powers up (when I am bored to tears). Ran Blue Flops. PCMCIA is 8 bit. No usb. No cdrom.

By then Intel will introduce 512 bit core, which will only go back to the 256 bit for older machines.

Alas, my poor old Dell netbook --- But wait, 19 Jan, 2038 - I'll be 93 going on 94 & I hope I don't live that long! And I've still got an old Amstrad 16bit hidden away in the shed somewhere. Poff, you youngsters, with your 64, 128, 512bit machines - a pox on you all. I remember when if you wanted to play World of Warcraft you had to write your own code, in assembly, on an 8bit machine. In those days, you rose at 6.00am, walked for 6 hours to get to pit, worked 12 hours on coalface and then walked home.

PS: and - AC - why on God's good earth are you reading the Daill Mail? I'm apalled.

I noticed lately that somebody keeps selling them non-stories like this one. As jdmeaux1952 says, we'll probably have 512 bit machines by then, if we live that long.

I like it when they get in a rage about nothing. I used to post comments to egg them on a bit. DM readers remind me of my teachers at school. __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__why on God's good earth are you reading the Daill Mail?

Their obsession with Amanda Knox gets me. Never mind those"British Values" such as"innocent until found guilty", she's young, good looking and American, plus she dared to call herself"Foxy Knoxy", so she must be guilty. The Mail therefore should be supported by the Left as an effective tool in demonstrating the Right is totally bonkers.
