Some users may have found that an upgrade of halevt has caused reboot/halt to be much slower as halevt takes ages to unmount file systems.

Cause: It appears that halevt is more complex than before and is no longer needed in the startup files for windows managers such as fluxbox and icewm for auto-mounting to work.

Solution: Remove or comment out halevt & line in both ~/.fluxbox/startup and ~/.icewm/startup.
Reboot (it will still be slow, but subsequent ones will be back to normal.)
