Hello Everyone,
I recently installed antiX and for some reason the live USB works fine but after installing and booting from hard drive I get grub command line. Typing anything on the keyboard results in options being printed to the screen. If I press tab then I get Error 28: Selected item cannot fit into memory.
The machine is a Acer c720 (Chromebook) with 2 GB of memory. I used all of the default options while installing and used the entire disk for antiX.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

grub-legacy, which is included in antiX (not MX) does not support booting in EFI environments. I'm less clear on the gpt which is what chromebook SSD's are formated by default.
you would need to use the seabios to boot grub-legacy.
If you have enabled seabios already, then I've got no other ideas.

Thank you for the info. I do have seabios enabled. I guess I'll have to give MX a try.

if you get the touchpad working, please post here how you do it. I know I'm curious.configX wrote:Excellent! Thanks. I can confirm that MX does boot so it probably is an efi issue as Dolphin mentioned. I'll try out the 14 series since I prefer IceWM and *box.
