Has anyone successfully installed Google Picasa? I downloaded V2.7 for Linux, and Synaptic attempted to install it but there was some kind of error.

I was able to install it in Mepis so I would think it would be possible in antiX. I might give it a go later tonight and post back to let you know.

I installed 2.7 in Mint 5 and it works fine, although it has to be said that it's not as good as version 3 for XP etc, which is a shame. I got 2.7 from the repos though, and not from Google DL. Maybe that made a difference??
