I chanced on antiX while searching for a build that will run well on my 15 year old Shuttle cube. It's got 2Gb ram and a 2.8GHz AMD Sempron - single core and pre-SSE instruction set. The box is lovely and I was loath to ditch it. I tried several OS's (various Windows and Linux) and had settled on a dual boot WinXP and Ubuntu Mate. Then I tried antiX and was really impressed. I would really like to install it on HD over Ubuntu Mate but I can't see a way to do this. Have I missed something? I'm currently booting off a CD iso which works very well but load times are a bit long.
Thanks to the antiX team for a job well done. A lot of thought has gone into making it tech friendly as well as user friendly. Impressive.

There should be an antix"installer" icon on the desktop.
If not, go to the Desktop so you can see the whole screen, then Desktop on the menu, and click Rox Panel On/Off

Boot to you media, click MENU and select the AntiX Installer.
Now if you mean to dual boot it, please say so.
