I am trying out the flubox desktop. I have found that you need to right click on the desktop in order to get a menu. I have not been able to figure out how to get the menu actually in the task bar.
With Ice and JWM, there is a menu in the left hand corner of the task bar.
Is it possible to set up flubox with a menu in the task bar?

Well, there is a way to add a menu to the toolbar of the pre-installed fluxbox version.
Open the file ~/.fluxbox/init in an editor, find the line that starts with"session.screen0.toolbar.tools:" (here line number 30) and add"RootMenu" at the desired position:
If you really prefer your menu in the RIGHT hand corner, append"RootMenu" to the end of the line.
You will find the menu represented by a simple triangle, though. I have no idea if it is possible to use a nicer icon instead.

My beginning /.tint2rc contained this as a starting point
It auto hid when not in use. My slit in fluxbox was set to autohide on bootup. If I wanted to use it. I just moused over the right. It has been ages since I used this config though. I am more happy with KISS fluxbox now. Edit. I should say I ran this on AntiX 8.5. The desktop file names might have changed since then and need to be adjusted accordingly to show in the panel like mine.
