There are a dozen"cups" packages that are grouped together for upgrading purpose. I'm at v2.2.1-1-0nosystemd for all of them. Upgrades for v2.2.1-2.0nosystemd are available for 7 of them, but the last 5 (the libraries), the upgrade path is to v2.2.1-2 (I assume b/c they don't require libsystemd0?) However, attempting to upgrade the libraries warns that Cups will be removed. Looks like there's an error in the pkgs, perhapes your nosystemd pkgs for the first 7?
Regards.

This is now resolved with the addition of matching *nosystemd versions of the library packages. I've now successfully updated.
