There is no firewall installed in MX-14. iptables is set up.
If you want a firewall, try gufw

Could you tell me why a Firewall is not installed. Is the security save enough without a Firewall ?
Does the bank agrees when its not if i'm doing bank transactions ?
I don't know what iptables is. I will read about. Give a short answer please.

Basically iptables is a firewall via the kernel. IMO another software firewall is not needed. (I don't use one), but I don't know what banks think for on-line transactions since I don't use them.
Hopefully someone else can post more information about this.

I installed gufw but the program is not in any menu.
I started it by hand using"start a program" and turned the fw on.
If i don't add rules is the FW usefull ?
Do i have now 2 FW's , iptables and Gfuw, Don't they conflicted ?

If you follow the link to gufw anticapitalista provided, click 'Documentation', then click the link at the end of this sentence:
For an overview of firewalls, please see Firewall.
you will find a simple beginners guide, together with links to more documentation.
Basically, gufw is a GUI for iptables; it sits on top of it, rather than working in conjunction with it.
Your question about security would be easier to answer if you were able to provide details about how you connect to the internet. If it is like most people, via a modem/router, then you probably already have a firewall built in to that.

There is typically a firewall installed in the modem or router of your internet if you use one. Even though linux has many firewalls you can choose to install it's like having anti-virus on an android phone it isn't completely necessary due to updates coming in faster for patches and because a virus can't do anything serious because you need root permission to do anything with the sytem. But if you are a person who likes to feel more safe than sorry I think bitdefender has a free linux firewall.
