Firefox Focus: Possible port for old hardware?

So, I've been using Firefox Focus on my Android phone (Galaxy S7edge). Seems to be a stripped down Firefox. Like no tabs, no bookmarks, no nothing. Just full browser power (flash/js/webm/html5?) with built-in ad/tracker blocking and a small footprint.

Could this project possibly be a Firefox for our old low-ram hardware? I think mayhaps it could be.

Perhaps someone with some coding/porting skills/knowledge could take a look. Seems like it might be worthwhile. Maybe rebranded for antiX. Or just ported and in the antiX repos.

(This post is just a food for thought sort of deal)

Not possible."Focus" is built from a separate codebase; it's an entirely separate product.

i wonder if its possible anyway. not that it would probably be worth it (even if you had enough people to do it, and you dont.)

most android stuff is for arm, not x86. theres android x86, but by the time everything"expected" was included, it could be focus+half of android, require the entire android sdk to compile? i can only guess. but"i doubt it" is an understatement. with the army of people needed to maintain focus for"desktop linux" you could probably build a more suitable browser from the webkit lib-- oops, i just realised what i was saying. no worries, that hypothetical developer army will never likely bother you.
