I still use rox-filer most of the time, though I use pcmanfm for mounting usb devices (rox seemed to have stopped working) and mc when out of X.

I still mostly use rox. I installed thunar to use for mounting usb, but pcmanfm works just as well since the upgrade to final.

I do not use file managers all that often. When I do, it is usually when I am on a KDE based system, so I probably use Konqueror more than any other file manager, though I probably use Thunar next most often, since I probably use XFCE based systems next most often.

As far as my usage with antiX, when I am using antiX, my usage patterns rarely even involve the use of a file manager at all. Probably ninety percent of my file manipulation on antiX has to do with updating config files, and the Control Center usually drops me directly into a multi-tabbed instance of Geany to edit the configurations. Once in a while, I will copy some scripts to antiX from one of my other systems, but I do not have to resort to the use of a file manager to manage them. If I do, I would, more than likely, bring in the all powerful GNU Emacs and use its"dired" capabilities to manage files. I am much more likely to use dired than a file manager.

I might use a file manager to invoke a CD or DVD burning program, but again, that is most likely to happen when I am running a KDE based system, in which case Konqueror would be the file manager and k3b would be the burner app.

I use antiX primarily when I am going to be doing Web browsing and Email access and very little else. I find antiX PERFECT for such occasions.

Voted Thunar since most of my WM in other distros are XFCE. I use pcmanfm in Icewm and fluxbox using Anti though.

i use xfe, i think konqueror is a good filemanager too. but as i don`t use the filemanager that often, i`m sticking with xfe for now.

I use the following on a weekly rotating basis:

• double commander

• pcmanfm

• spacefm

Depends on which is installed with the distro in use - but if I choose one to install it is nearly always mc, with vifm occassionally.

I've been using the MX-14 distribution quite a lot lately. That means that I may be using Thunar on occasion! __{{emoticon}}__
