Have been running antiX 15 on a live cd and trying to install the OS onto a USB drive with persistence. But when i clicked on antix2usb and typed in the root password which is root nothing happened? Could someone tell me what i've done wrong please.

the password its asking for is the user password (which is demo), although its not real obvious that that is the case.
You can also use unetbootin from a windows or other linux system to make a liveUSB. On first bootup, select the persistence option of your choice from the F5 menu and the persistence file creation routine will automatically begin.
