Just finished test repos dist-upgrade on my AntiX 15 beta V netbook.
I know. Procrastination biker here. Anyways.

I'm not asking how to fix this, as it is a upstream block that I have no control over than to ask the developer to unlock it. This is just more of a info thread in case anyone else
starts a thread about this later on.

Just a side note. On my dist-upgrade in testing. The dist-upgrade process removed 29 libs and installed 40 new. Pretty scary to say yes but I figured it was a good reason to reinstall to current if it borked. Which it did not.

So this is just a here are how things are going lately in my neighborhood.
No https-everywhere or flashblock working presently in Iceweasel 41.

flashblock hasn't been needed since back in iceweasel/firefox 34 (or so).
Goto"Tools}Addons" and navigate to the"plugins" tab.
You can set the pref for flashplayer to (your choice of)"always ask to activate" or"never activate".
Doing so obviates the need for flashblock extension.

No iceweasel 41 for me. Sick of fighting new"features" and privacy-unfriendly default prefs, I've pinned iceweasel @v31ESR.

Hey Skidoo, the newsgroup alt.privacy was the place for privacy info for all the info anybody ever required, with alt.privacy.anon-server being a good second. Oh, but you wouldn't know about usenet, would you? __{{emoticon}}__ I see both have now gone the way of everything run by Google. It's rather like the fox guarding the hen-house, surely?

Wilders Security hardly helps anybody using Linux, does it? They used to make Spywareblaster for Windoze, but that didn't block anything the antix ad-blocker already blocks, did it?

Oh no, not the kill-file? Whatever will I do now?

Wilders Security used to produce a top notch anti-spyware program for windows. (We use Linux) Now they sit around in a forum talking about it like a bunch of has beens.

Did you understand that? I typed it slow so you could keep up. Or to put it another way, how come those guys at Wilders Security keep flogging that dead horse called Windoze, if they are so smart? Why aren't they using anitx?
