Hello:
I've reinstalled Antix8 2x in the same desktop and I have this problem. I'm the primary user and everything works fine, including logout, shutdown, restart, etc.
However, I added a 2nd user (using the Mepis Manage Users option from CC) and for that user the menu that pops up when you click Exit (either in ice or flux) does not work. Nothing happens and the menu just hangs so that I have to turn off the power to restart the computer.
Any ideas?

You need to edit the /etc/group file
Add new users name to these lines (and others permissions you want to give)
sudo
27:antiX,friend
users100:antiX,friend
Logout, logback in and it should set.

Thanks, your suggestion took care of the problem. So, I guess that option does not work very well from control center?
