Hello everyone. I hope that all is going well for you.
A while back I remember reading about enabling touchpad tapping in this forum. I believe that the individual was ultimately answered by anti with a very easy solution. For the life of me, I can't find it. Does anyone recall the post? I'd really appreciate it if someone could direct me to it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dave

Using the search function for +touchpad. Hope that is what you were looking for. It was in a wireless + touchpad threadFor touchpad tapping, try this:
Run the following two commands to immediately make it work:
#modprobe -r psmouse
#modprobe psmouse proto=imps
and if that works, to make this change permanent, create a file such as touchpad.conf under /etc/modprobe.d/, and put the following line in it:
options psmouse proto=imps
