I guess for a novice, clueless, biker computer like I started out as.
Who never had to do anything but go to ebay buy motorcycle parts and check email and do active adobe pdf reciepts.
Maybe watch a video and listen to a song.
The distro fits that niche. As it's name suggests.
Choice is always good food. I appreciate choice in all things in life.
The Name was a big hint for me to check into the guts of their operating system.Elementary

Actually the good old days of the"desktop metaphore" are changing in favor of the tablets'"metro looking" .
Considere how difficult it is now to create a shortcut on the desktop of gnome3 and unity. You can't rightclick as in gnome2 any more but editing files again as the application.desktop files to get a shortcut to an app-.
