It struck me just now, with it being another U.S. Election year, that it now eight years since I first found antix.

This may mean nothing much to you, but that means antix is the OS I have used the longest, including Windoze.

So one again, my thanks to anti, and the rest of the team, for the world's best operating system.

I have a similar experience , and time frame more or less.
I used to install Mepis in old machines and give them away to people needing a computer.
But I wanted something faster and more"to the point" to play with and have used antiX ever since.
I built my latest machine purposely to"be as fast as it can be" and antiX doesn't let me down for this either.
I thought at the time that icewm was really ugly , but with some tweaking , can look like anything I want.
I like jwm also , mostly because of it's efficency , but I always come back to icewm for my daily chores.
