Unfortunately, I'm new to antiX, and I'm not sure the ideal way to get the tray icon started automatically when I bootup, or login. In Ubuntu there was a settings window where I could add and remove the startup applications and daemons. What is the best way to do this with antiX?
If you look in ~/.fluxbox you'll see a file called startup. You can edit this to add any applications you want running on start up. Assuming wicd daemon is running on booting up then it will be enough to add

/opt/wicd/tray.py &
to the section headed"# Applications you want to run with fluxbox."

What tray app. are you guys using.
I use Trayer but i was wondering about switching.
I like to try at least two to compare--not at the same time.
