I'm using dwm window manager at the moment. How do I quit this window manager?
I have tried:
Mod + Shift + Q
Alt + Shift + Q
Ctrl + Shift + Q
Nothing seems to happen.
And also may I know the commands to quit, logout and reboot too?
Terminal commands and also dwm commands.
More questions:
How do I change the wallpaper when I start dwm?
Is there any way to set a few applications to open at start up with the layout as used before?

Have a look at these sites for help. I think pedro uses dwm so he may be able to help more.

Thanks for the reply, anticapitalista.
I still find no information about logging out, shutdown or rebooting in those links.
Guess I have to keep pushing some keys or the other __{{emoticon}}__

dwm was not working properly for me as included in the Antix8.5 iso. What's probably included is the version that can be obtained through synaptic or apt-get, which is not a complete install and certainly not the latest version of dwm.
If you want it to work properly, I suggest you download the latest version (5.8.2; I think) into a directory, and (as root) do a make clean install. It should work fine after that. There are readme files in the tar ball.

You may have to edit the config.mk file to match your local requirements (should check anyway). I'm very fond of dwm and use it almost exclusively now, with only an occasional dip into fluxbox.
Post if you have any problems. I hope this helps.
Pedro
P.S. to quit dwm (once is working fine): Alt -Shift-Q will take you back to slim. (so it logs you out)
To restart, reboot, etc, I just run the Antix exit script from within dwm. You can call it up from dmenu (if you have that installed; which I strongly suggest) or you can set up a shortcut using xbindkeys.

One more point, while secipolla's advice will obviously work, I find that it's easier (fewer keystrokes) to just use xbindkeys to call up the antix exit script, or for example, the control center script. That way I don't need to open a term, log in as su and type a command.

I re-installed the package along with dmenu and now it works. I able to quit with the hot key combination (Mod+Shift+Q) __{{emoticon}}__

I'm glad you got it fixed and it's working for you now.
If you want to get a bit fancier and actually change your configuration for dwm, you will have to download the actual tar file from the homepage and install it. That will give you a config.mk and config.h files to play around with. And then you'll have to do"make install" as root.
In the meantime, enjoy DWM and Antix!
