May I please know if there is already an existing equivalent for dwhelper in antiX?

If not, is there a way we can also download videos using native antix softwares?

Many thanks! __{{emoticon}}__

You can install dwhelper into Iceweasel/Iceape (depending on which Antix version you are using) Just go here,
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006/"
linktext was:"https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006/"
====================================

and click the"download now" button. Iceape/Iceweasel are just debranded versions of either Seamonkey o Firefox. Adding plugins and themes works the same as it would in Windows.

What's that? A download manager?
You can use Transmission in antiX for Bittorrent.
There's an extension for Firefox (Iceweasel in antiX, must be installed) that downloads videos from the web:
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.downloadhelper.net/"
linktext was:"http://www.downloadhelper.net/"
====================================

And there is, also for Iceweasel
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.downthemall.net/"
linktext was:"http://www.downthemall.net/"
====================================

A search for download managers in Synaptic shows fatrat and multiget.
