Running an old dell with a Intel Celeron 2.0 GHz and 128 ram. Do I need the 486 or the 686?

The 686 is fine. The 486 is for PI/AMD k5/k6 cpu.

It doesn't matter, Maiden. The 486 will work just as well as the 686
