Hi again!
I wanted to set up this 64 bit install of antiX 16.1 (on an ASUS X55U) to dual boot with Linux Mint.
Just so I could have the option of an OS with a bit more flash if I really needed it sometimes.
Went through the Mint installer, no problems there.
However, when I rebooted there was no option for booting Linux Mint, just antiX.
Would I have to do a little tinkering with GRUB?7
And if so, how so?
Thanks!

Thanks for the response!
I found out from someone on the Mint forums where I went wrong.
The mint installer shows up as two different boot options in the UEFI/BIOS boot menu.
One is UEFI option and the other is old-fashioned BIOS.
I picked the wrong option the first time around.
So, when I tried it again and picked the UEFI boot option, it worked properly.
So, now I can use both antiX and Mint on this laptop! : __{{emoticon}}__
The only minor snag now is that if I pick antiX by the normal start up method might boot properly.
But picking the alternate boot option for it seems to work well.
I better do the update grub thing too.
Thanks again!

No problem.
Basic thing to be sure of is to make sure you install the second OS with antiX in UEFI mode.
I assumed that was the default, but it wasn't.
I also updated the grub in antiX, as anticapitalista suggested.
Now antiX starts up without any hitches or delays.
So, it's all good.
And I learned something new about making dual-boot computers too!
