I set up using the nouveau driver when i start my computer but it says I have to change nomodeset to drvr=nouveau when i start the computer is there a way where I don't have to do this

Open /boot/grub/menu.lst in a text editor, and make your changes, remember to save the file when you are done.
That way you don't have to change it every time you start.
