Have finally downloaded antiX M11-486 but for some reason could not run antiX from a live cd? Just get a load of text on the screen which i don't have a clue about and that's it?
I do have an XChat account so i'll drop into #antix and see if there's anyone there who might be able to help?

Check the cd is ok - md5sum etc.
Burn at low speed.
Try various boot options.
What are the specs of the computer? Video cards etc?

I failed to run antiX-m11-484. The live cd wouldn't even boot up for some reason. Then i downloaded antiX-M11-686 and what do you know? I am successfully running the live cd lol. So i am going to be installing antiX-M11-686 on a new hard drive, once i get hold of a new SATA cable. I'll be back shortly!
