I thought of installing E17 through synaptic but my internet download speed sux so I chickened out.

Been a while, but i am quite sure that e17 has a size similar to a window-manager (25MB, that's what i recall).

I did some jiggery-pokie on my htop by adding

(sleep 3 && urxvt -bl -tr -tint green -sh 40 -e htop) &
to .xinitrc-custom __{{emoticon}}__
