Trying to add a new printer attached to a windows pc. The antix peripheral / printer dialogue finds the the printer printer but nothing gets added.
Using CUPS there's no Windows SMB Printer in the dropdown.
Any ideas?
Have added all the components related to cups as per faq.

I would try system-config-printer. It's a nice gui app and available from the repos. I never had much luck with gnome-print and cups can be difficult. Don't forget to make sure you have the driver package as well ie: foomatic and gutenprint.
