...is to a thread I just created. I started it after I had trouble installing a printer. In fact, since I had to set up CUPS (as a pnewbie) - and then had trouble/failed printing - I thought I had created trouble for myself somewhere in the installation chain - anywhere from CUPS to oops. I won't continue here; all the detail is within the post.

I have posted here as a courtesy because it has reference to Antix-16. However, the reference is only incidental, not detrimental (as I perceive it).

I have also posted here to encourage participation there (since it is a general Linux question), or even here (since it is Antix related).

Ultimately the relevant info is"linked" to Antix anyway, so I hope that is satisfactory.
