The Crystal Blue IceWM Theme will be included in M8 final. If you are not planning on up-grading, or find another reason why you might want it in the future, it can be downloaded at the following url.

I decided to get some of these recent themes uploaded so other IceWM users can take advantage of them if they so desire. I also feels it adds some additional exposure for antiX.
Here are a few screenshots of Crystal Blue.

Impuwat:
I downloaded and installed this theme. It looks great!! Thanks.
However, I can't find the conky conf file that the readme file should be in the package. It's not in the blue crystal directory that got unpacked. Unless that file went into a different directory?
thanks.

John:
Thanks. I appreciate all your feedback and help as we've been working on all new IceWM themes. We make a good team.
Pedro:
Thanks! Glad you like it.
I just checked to make sure....it's there....just a hidden file (.conkyrc). I'm not sure which file manager you are using but"show hidden files" under"view" should do it. Or for most just hold down"ctrl" and then hit the"h" key.

I finally found the conky file. Oddly enough, I was using both rox and pcmanfm and could not see it, even after clicking on the hidden files option and reloading. Was able to see if after I closed the program and opened it again.
Anyway, I've got it set up and looks great.
thanks again.

That is odd. Glad you found it though. I've been using Thunar and had no similar problems.
You probably noticed you will have to hand edit the processor model line. I had the syntax in the line that detected the processor and displayed it but it always listed it twice. I was never able to solve that problem so I just typed in the processor rather than fighting with it. Other than that the conky is pretty straight forward. I left the battery line in even though I have it installed on a desktop....just for the future.

I installed this theme in a second laptop and whereas the wallpaper came up fine in my previous install in another laptop. this time it did not come up when I switched themes.
I tried to find it manually (and by using change wallpaper in CC) but couldn't do it. Since I don't usually use ice-wm, I figure I'm doing something stupid.
Any ideas on how to find the wallpaper associated with this theme?
thanks

You need to download the wallpaper and place it in /usr/share/wallpaper.
Make sure the file is named dolph.jpg

Thanks, anti. Forgot that part.
In a related question, I noticed that my usr/bin/icewm/theme directory has root ownership. I found out when I was trying to untar this theme into it and wouldn't let me. Is it supposed to be this way? I got around it by calling up pcmanfm from a root terminal, but it seems like a convoluted process just to add a theme.

Yes it is owned by root.
You could create your own .icewm/theme directory and untar into there.

Pedro:
You may already know this tip but a shortcut to consider is a root file manager icon in your taskbar. If you look at the above screenshot you will see two blue folders on the left side of the taskbar. The icon of the blue folder with the green circle I use as a shortcut to a root file manager. Creating themes, constantly swapping them, tweaking, etc. has been easier for me having quick access to a root file manager.
As root go to /etc/sudoers and open with geany or another editor. At the bottom add a line similar to the following.
Then go to antiX control center, choose"edit icewm settings", then open toolbar tab. Insert a line similar to this one, where you would like the new icon to appear.

In your case you would probably use pcmanfm or rox instead of thunar and make sure you have the correct path.%users ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/thunar
Then go to antiX control center, choose"edit icewm settings", then open toolbar tab. Insert a line similar to this one, where you would like the new icon to appear.
Obviously you would pick a path to an icon you prefer and then place the name of the file manager you want to use.prog"sudo Home Folder" /usr/share/icons/gTangish-2.0a1/32x32/actions/folder_new.png sudo thunar

The /etc/sudoers file has this line, just uncomment it.
##%users ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/rox
You may wish to change %users to your user name.

Although convenient I would not recommend using the sudoers and no password option. Instead I would create the Icon/shortcut as Impuwat stated and use gksu.
prog"root Home Folder" /usr/share/icons/gTangish-2.0a1/32x32/actions/folder_new.png gksu thunar
Using the password reminds you that you are ROOT and can easily screw things up.
