#1.
I inadvertently deleted the shortcut on the desktop to Iceweasel browser.
How to recreate the shortcut?

#2
How to enlarge the font on the bottom panel?

#3
How to set the time and date persistently in the 12 hour format?

How about a

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxx
report so we can see what you installed and are running. A screenshot showing what shortcut is missing would be great also. Use the thumbnail option in screenshot application if screen is larger than 1024x768 so to fit inside a post if you please.

Howdy and Welcome to the forum.

Edit: just a link to show what I mean. Mine posted on another forum.

Re: My item #1 note the launchers/shortcuts just above the panel. The second image is of a globe.
There was a globe image for the browser at the end of the line that I accidently deleted.
How to create a new one?

From here I have no idea what I'm doing.

The planet icon does not open iceweasel? Just so you know. You are running Icewm rox-desktop. The icons are rox desktop. The rest of the desktop is Icewm. The planet icon is the browser icon for iceweasel. So you did not delete that.
For making the taskbar fonts bigger. I don not know.
For time change. Look into antix control center>edit icewm settings

There should be a help section in the menu to assist you.

Still waiting on a inxi -Fxx report though .

Edit: Since you say you do not know what you are doing. Take some time out to watch some videos on youtube.

you've got a couple of options. the easiest is to navigate in rox-filer to /usr/share/applications and drag whatever app you wish to the desktop. A shortcut will be automatically created.

text size for the panel bar is set by the individual themes. the default themes are stored in /usr/share/icewm/themes. look for files with a .theme extension, which are just basic text files.

As for the icon problem. copy / etc /X11/icewm/toolbar .icewm/toolbar then edit it as user and add this line at the bottom:

Code: Select all

$ cp / etc/X11/icewm/toolbar .icewm/toolbar

Code: Select all

$ nano .icewm/toolbar
Add this line at the bottom of the file:

Code: Select all

prog   "WWW" iceweasel x-www-browser
save/exit editor
restart icewm

Ok. You have a pentium 4 with 2 gig of ram. Why run AntiX 13.2 when AntiX 15 will fly good on your gear?
I only ask because I have 2 laptops with lower specs than your hewlitt packard and they both run AntiX 15 just fine.

AntiX 15 has a better control center. Better everything. In my opinion. So forgive me for asking. Why 13.2?
