My experience with antiX is pretty wonderful although WiFi was flaky on the beginning but fortunately I can find the solution later.
Wine experience is very great too, some windows apps run flawlessly in antiX.

Unfortunately not for audio, as in ALSA audio configuration it detects Intel as my soundcard (which is for HDMI) as opposed from Conexant, and seems like I cannot find solution about this anywhere!

Help!!! If the audio will be fixed, I won't use windows anymore

go to Control Center>Hardware>Select Sound Card and see if your proper audio chip shows up in the selections list.

Try a different kernel than the AntiX 4.0.5 kernel is how I would roll on this problem.

Either latest Debian or Liqourix kernel would be my next step. I use the smxi route to change kernels in my AntiX installs.
6.5.3 Pre-installed user scripts
The following scripts allow users to help keep their MX Linux installation up-to-date and running as a rolling release.
smxi
When run, smxi allows users to install a new kernel, install ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers, run apt-get upgrade or apt-get dist-upgrade safely, and lots more! Written by a programmer named “h2”, the script is pretty much self explanatory, but for usage options, execute smxi -h.
smxi must be run outside of the X window system (i.e., not from the desktop) for most functions.

From your desktop:
Press Ctrl-Alt-F1 to get to a terminal prompt.
Log in as root (su and password)
Type: smxi
At boot:
Type e when on the GRUB menu to be able to edit it
Add “3” to the end of the kernel line in GRUB’s menu entry for MX Linux
The system will boot directly to the console.
Log in as root (su and password)
Type: smxi

smxi will ask a series of questions the first time it is run, including which system options you want to run. The following options are recommended:

continue-no-changes
apt-get
apt-get dist-upgrade

After smxi has completed its operations it will ask if you want to restart the desktop. NOTE: Running smxi -G in a root terminal while inside a running X session allows certain features of smxi to run, such as removing unwanted kernels etc.
Takes a bit of getting used to. But once you learn it. You rely on it more and more. I know I do.

Edit.

It might be useful to have a bit more information about your sound system and its set up. Run the following commands and post the results between code tags. This post will give you the idea of what it should look like
sound-from-external-speakers-but-not-internal-t5889.html

Code: Select all

aplay -l
Note that is lowercase letter L.

For each card except any that are identified as modem

Code: Select all

amixer --card X
Note replace X with the number of the card and repeat for each card returned by the previous above command.

Off Topic: Must be something in the air tonight. Both stores shorted me 1 bag each, of groceries I paid for.
Being Me. I escalated my temper while video cameras rolled showing I got ripped off.
Trouble was. Store manager tells me,"I gotta be sure what went into the bag" .

Which is impossible with the grainy footage. I scare the bejesus out of the dude till the cops arrive.
I never got my ripped off groceries from the one store. Human nature (to put it in a nice way) kept that from happening.

The other store said no problem. Gave me what was missing.
Your statement

brought that episode flooding back to my mind. At least I did not go to jail for assault. The manager of the ripoff store and I are not done yet, in my mind.
Nuff said on that. __{{emoticon}}__

What are your repos? Back on Topic:

I'm sorry my english is very poor, please forgive me, I live in a third world country, a very simple english will be very welcome to me.

On that link, first I choose smxi to choose the mirror for me, but smxi request the wrong URL, then I choose Japan and the problem still happen. I navigate the URL myself and found that smxi should request

forum bug. no 2 in my video on annoyances in antiX.

2. The forum bug. Any post with"/etc" in the message will fail to post and give a permission error. This is beyond the antiX dev's control. So current forum convention is to put a space between the"/" and the"etc".
