Hello

yes, thanks, but there still are a lot of problems in M8-2.

At the moment, Synaptic was blocked during several hours (without disk moving) in"packages preparation" (I traduce from French). I tried to put off then restart but it's the same.

I think I am going to come back to M8"Intifada".

Pierre, if you go back to antiX 8, as soon as it's installed - before you update - make sure to comment the 'testing' repos in /etc/sources.list . Also change 'stable' for 'lenny'.
This way you'll have Debian Lenny's repos which although doesn't have the latest software versions will give you much fewer 'headaches'.
