I have used this on both antiX installs and also Xubuntu installs, and never broken anything yet, but of course the standard disclaimer is "Your mileage may vary and you do this at your own risk..... if anything breaks, you get to keep all the bits!" __{{emoticon}}__
*anti - if you think this is not such a good idea and then please feel free to add/amend/delete etc.

Seems ok, but I would use caution when using deborphon. It sometimes gets a bit too aggressive in what it removes!
