After running AntiX once from CD, I just bit the bullet and installed it on my aging IBM Thinkpad.
I'd like to change the wallpaper but I'm afraid I'm at a loss as to how to do so. What are the steps? Would prefer a flat background of a single solid color.
Thanks,

Assuming you are talking about antiX 7.2, take a look at the FAQ document in your Documents directory which covers this and other stuff that might interest you.

Right click>>settiings>>fluxbox>>wallpaper. Select the one you want and it will change. It you have others you like just place them in you /home/username/wallpapers folder and they will appear on the menu.
