Hi, I want to try another desktop. I remember using the last antix version, on bootup I could choose the desktop I wanted. Has that facility been removed or did I not configure this option properly when I installed (in my case IceWM). Many thanks.

You can also go to antixcc select"Session" then"Edit LogIn Options" then choose another desktop for your new default desktop.
If your missing the F1 option on the login screen you most likley have a bad install.jerry353 wrote:Hi, I want to try another desktop. One of the recent updates wanted to alter"/etc/slim.conf". If you said"yes" then slim.conf may no longer contain the list of sessions. Slim.conf should contain the line
Code: Select all
sessions dwm,rox-fluxbox,space-fluxbox,fluxbox,rox-icewm,space-icewm,icewm,rox-jwm,space-jwm,jwm,wmii

You can also use update-default-desktop to change the default and to make it work with desktops you have installed via synaptic or apt-get.
