Be careful when upgrading as ceni is to be removed because netbase gets updated. So either put netbase on hold or do not dist-upgrade until it is fixed. Hopefully a fix will come soon.

according to a bug report to netbase. the uploader didn't knew that ifupdown 0.7~rc2 wasn't in unstable. the solution would be to wait for ifupdown to be updated in sid or install it from experimental. this i had done and apart from 10 lines in the boot line with network output all seams to work.

edit: also h2 updated ceni to version 2.25. and on my install ceniwrapper went awol. i installed it back from mepisimo.

edit: new ifupdown is in sid, you can update now.

Those with a working new ifupdown on Debian/antiX Sid, could you post the following information.

1. Does /etc/init.d/networking exist?
2. If it does, what is its run level in /etc/rcS.d?
3. Same as 2 for netscript.
3. In /var/lib/update-rc.d post contents of netscript and networking.

Thanks dark-D.

For anyone else that may run into the error I got, the problem was that /etc/init.d/netscript doesn't get removed and /var/lib/netscript
