I'm running the iso cd, and I really like it. I click on the Install option, and it brings up a password. I tried demo, my user password, and the root password. None of them work, so I cannot install. Any help would be appreciated.

just enter"root" at the prompt. If this doesn't work, open a terminal, sux to root, and enter minstall.

That did it! Thanks! Now installing. __{{emoticon}}__
I recommend that the password be listed for the install option, though.

Not the one for root install, only the one for demo. Or, if it was there, it was VERY well hidden, as I rebooted several times trying to find it.anticapitalista wrote:Glad you got to install, have fun.

Yes, I have the same problem. The demo works great, but I cannot install this version. Is the password the same as previous versions of AntiX?

Thanks, got it installed. I must have mistyped the password last time. Antix looks good and work well on this old Tecra laptop.
Now to get the wireless working with the new interface.
Thanks
Kevin
