I Cannot connect to my android via USB with the built in file manager
It is not getting mounted at all (I believe)
I went into /media and its not there
I tried mount as pictures and also mount as file transfer and I still cant mount it.
I am only familiar with Nautilus where it will mount on the left hand pane (where you dont even need to know where the /media location path)

Thanks guys I have read a few things on the search engine results but mistakenly followed old tutorial from 2011 and I think old deprecated packages/libs.
Thanks for reminding me I can also connect over WiFi or FTP. That actually sounds like a better idea. I dont often connect my android to the PC, its just to backup my pictures in full resolution. I think I have ADD or something because I started to read the post linked by rokynki and got overwhelmed with all the data and said"Let me come back to this later after I drink my morning coffee"

You definitely got me on the right track regarding wireless connection.
I am able to connect very easy using FileZilla and sFTP (and android app SSHdroid)

I can also map the drive as a network drive on the left hand pane with Nautilus (maybe this works on SpaceFM also)

What's Nautilus and how do I get it? And do you mean to use Filezilla with SSHDROID? Cuz I tried SSHDROID alone and it's not working.Brad562 wrote: You definitely got me on the right track regarding wireless connection.

I used the help menu in Droopy but it didn't have the answers I was looking for. I didn't see any of the links you posted above nor did I know they existed. But I already found a solution. Which I figured if you had read my last post, then you would know that by now lol. Thanks anyways! You provided lots of great info so maybe it will help someone else in the future!SamK wrote:Information showing how to use Droopy is available in multiple places.
