Here I am......again. How many times have I attempted to like Antix and failed? Countless but I'm here again. Go figure. Maybe it's the speed, the simplicity I don't know. I have my fstab working so that's good but I have an issue with my external NTFS formatted USB drive. Can't remember how I can mount it. All I get is this so I know that something is missing.

Code: Select all

Mounting /media/sdb1
Unprivileged user can not mount NTFS block devices using the external FUSE
library. Either mount the volume as root, or rebuild NTFS-3G with integrated
FUSE support and make it setuid root. Please see more information at
http://tuxera.com/community/ntfs-3g-faq/#unprivileged
Mount failed
Normally I would post this in the proper forum but I thought I would mention it while re introducing myself back to Antix For now I am using Rox.Love the simplicity of Rox. Nice to be back!!!

Will there be a way to upgrade to the latest Antix when it is released?

Any projected release date?

Problem is that I have an external USB drive that I need for my radio shows because the radio station is still using Windows XP as the operating system in the studio, so I need to be able to mount it in Antix. Like I said I use Rox because it is fast and simple for me. Can't remember how to mount NTFS formatted drives in Antix using Rox.

You probably need to mount it as root user in rox.
