--the one with gspca(webcam), perhaps ralink though my gigabyte usb wificard seems to work

tried to download source but module-assitant is not having it

any other way of getting this?

i guess i can burn a mepis 8 livecd and copy the stuff from there

i used antiX base so the initial install was a little barebone

I need the mepis kernel, the lenny kernel messes up the sound setup, totally ordinary yamaha soundcard
which has aleays worked --known bug where it insists on setting up the pcsp module.
the mepis kernel is easier/better for other reasons too
