I am using the ROX-IceVM and I'd like to move the 'show desktop' icon to the far right of the task bar (right of the time). Is that possible?

Setting adjustment probably is in ~./icewm/preferences. Antix control center > Desktop > Edit Icewm should be the access point.
Somebody else will have to give the line entry you want in that file.

can add/remove/reorder custom items by editing ~/.icewm/toolbar

can adjust which stock elements are displayed (but not their layout order) within toolbar by editing ~/.icewm/preferences
AFAICT, the toolbar layout is hardcoded (not themable) such that the clock is placed last (rightmost)
