I was just installing my updates (generally do that once a week) on the two systems running antiX 13.2 32-bit Full (testing), and both the Athlon XP and Pentium II laptop gave the same error: a package called libjpeg-progs tries to overwrite a file (probably a man page, based on its location) that is also part of libjpeg-turbo-progs. The resulting error from dpkg stops the entire dist-upgrade process, though apt-get purge libjpeg-progs clears the way for the update to finish configuring the plethora of newly downloaded packages from the past week.

It appears that in Jessie and Sid this package's functions are also provided by libjpeg-turbo-progs, so unless I hear some indication it's a problem, I'll probably not bother to put it back, but it seems a little sloppy to find out a program is redundant because it'll jam the entire update process conflicting with its replacement.
