Has anyone ever got a wireless part based on a Broadcom BCM4323 working? Someone gave me one of these things and I'm trying to find a use for it. Might be nice on a desktop if it will work.

Searching around the interwebs, I'm seeing the best hope might be ndiswrapper. Anyother thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

thanks ohh.

That page is actually one of the reasons I asked. The chipset involved here, the bcm4323, is not listed anywhere. The open-source b43 driver folks say to use ndiswrapper (with an uncomforting set of ????) as the linux drivers do not support the particular chipset for some hardware limitation of the chip itself.

Its stuff like this that makes me glad I've got atheros and intel chipsets in my stuff.

I'll post any updates...

I've been looking at that, but I haven't tried it yet. Thanks for the link! I'll let you know.
