I tried to install bootchart on Antix 7.2 (using both synaptic and apt-get) to see the details of the boot process with a view of possible optimisation.

However, the directory bootchart with the file bootchart.tgz inside did not appear in /var/log as it should. __{{emoticon}}__

Someone can help me to fix it?

Happy antixoid since 7.0 but I am still learning! __{{emoticon}}__

The problem is that bootchartd doesn't stop as it doesn't 'see' slim login manager.
You are supposed to edit the sbin/bootchartd file to include slim, but I still couldn't get it to work.
Near bottom.
