Hello Everyone,
I'd love to use Antix 16, however I can't seem to get past grub. In the past, I have had issues with 64-bit distros where I had to put"MEM=1800M" in the boot parameters to continue but that's not working for me in this case. On this machine the bios is

, nothing fancy. When I get to the graphical boot screen using a live USB stick, I press enter, the screen goes black for a second or two, and then goes right back to the boot menu.
Any thoughts that might be causing this? This is the only distro that I'm having this issue with at the moment. I've run into a similar issue in the past and needed to run isohybrid on the iso image file. That didn't work in this case either.

Out of curiosity, I tried the 386 iso and that worked. Any thoughts on why x64 doesn't boot correctly?

you wrote"grub" but during LiveUSB"legacy" boot the bootloader is syslinux, right?
I've no experience with chromebooks, but have you tested whether a boot cheatcode provides a workaround?
Press F1 while the liveboot menu is displayed. Read about the various cheatocodes. IIRC, one mentions"if black screen..."
I skimmed a couple search results & didn't find any discussion of"specifically 32bit" issues

I thought about that after I posted and I think that's probably the issue. Looks like it was patched in Ubuntu and Debian. Any chance this could be added to antiX?

Hmm, I wonder what's causing it to continue happening then.
