topic title: Black screen after 10 mins. ( solved)

I installed and set xscreensaver at 120 min. but the screen simply goes black after abt 10 min.
What can I do ?

Edit:
Changed the title from Screensaver to this one. Seems more appropriate.

You have to disable DPMS or set its blanking time to zero. Google 'disable dpms screen blank', read some of the results and you may get a proper picture.

After any modification doesn't hurt to use" xset q" to see the results. Still have to find out what exactly means"cycling"...

leave"Option DPMS" as is and modify:
Section"ServerLayout" to your needs.
