I installed and set xscreensaver at 120 min. but the screen simply goes black after abt 10 min.
What can I do ?
Edit:
Changed the title from Screensaver to this one. Seems more appropriate.
topic title: Black screen after 10 mins. ( solved)

You have to disable DPMS or set its blanking time to zero. Google 'disable dpms screen blank', read some of the results and you may get a proper picture.

Thanks for pointing the wright direction (DPMS).
EDIT
Even if from 2006, a good description found here

url was:"https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Display_Power_Management_Signaling"

.
After any modification doesn't hurt to use" xset q" to see the results. Still have to find out what exactly means"cycling"...
EDIT 2
for Apr 2012
leave"Option DPMS" as is and modify:
Section"ServerLayout" to your needs.
