automount & xfe file manager (solved)

when I insert a usb pendrive opens spacefm or rox. how do I set xfe instead of rox or spacefm?

Automount is set to open in whatever is set as the default file manager. You can set this in"preferred applications" in the control center.

the"gksu" should not be necessary. The file managers should pop open an automounted device as a regular user.

in fact, using gksu will set the apps for the root account.

I gave the command with gksu. Only because now I'm not move files to the trash or delete files. It gives me permission denied. while if startup xfe root works.

Have you removed any applications? Something has happened to your mimeinfo.cache file.

ok, so the globabl mimetype.cache is missing.

you can recreate it with

although I do not know why its missing in the first place.
