I click on"Files" icon, but Rox-Filer doesn't open. I open it from Menu => Applications => System Tools.

Menu => Web Browser doesn't open Iceweasel. I open it from Menu => Applications => Internet.

Menu => Terminal doesn't open a terminal. I open it from Menu => Applications => System Tools.

What is going on?

the recent update to desktop-session has a bug that is being worked out. To restore the default functionality to the links on the top level of the menu, you need to remove the ~/.local/usr/share/desktop-defaults/ contents and folder.
